Sonus Networks to Complete Name Change to Ribbon Communications and Begin Trading as RBBN on Nasdaq

Sonus Networks announced that following the recent completion of the Sonus and GENBAND mergers, the ticker symbol of the company’s common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market will change to “RBBN” effective upon the commencement of trading on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

The company also announced that its corporate name will officially change to Ribbon Communications Inc., effective at 6:00 a.m. Singapore time, November 29, 2017.

A Closing Bell ceremony celebrating the change will take place at 5:00 a.m. Singapore time on November 30, 2017 at Nasdaq MarketSite at 4 Times Square in New York City. Ray Dolan, President and Chief Executive Officer; David Walsh, former Chief Executive Officer of GENBAND and Founder of Kandy; Daryl Raiford, Chief Financial Officer, and other senior executives will be in attendance.
