Pi Datacenters at Amaravati is not the only Tier 4 Datacenter in India

Pi Datacenters recently came with its big datacenter at Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh. The datacenter was launched with big noise in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other dignitaries from the government. While it is a big facility, it is not all what Pi Datacenters CEO Kalyan Muppaneni claims.

Pi's claims that it is the only Tier 4 datacenter in India is not true. Ctrl Datacenter is also Tier4 compliant. However, there are other basic flaws in the building security of the datacenter. In the front, while everything seems okay, from behind there is not wall protecting the datacenter building. It's difficult to believe that the datacenter has met all tier 4 conditions. It seems that the Tier 4 team did not fully take a look at all aspects of the building and blindly granted the certificate.

Another problem which many customers or CIOs expressed in person to us was that of the seamless connectivity. They sounded worried if any snags would be immediately addressed. These CIOs are not yet on their premises but confided that they were kind of requested by Pi officials to think of using to the datacenter.

But Pi Amaravati is a good start for the new capital as it is believed that the datacenter will act as a magnate for other IT firms to set up their offices in the city.
