H&R Block India Pvt. Ltd., the largest individual tax preparation company in India, which also provides GST solutions, announces a partnership with Airbnb India to enable hosts on Airbnb platform to make a seamless transition to the GST regime. Hosts of over 24,000 listings on the Airbnb platform are set to benefit from this knowledge sharing and GST services.
The GST compliant ‘Invoicing Application’ launched by H&R Block will be free of cost for the first year, for hosts registered with Airbnb. H&R Block will educate hosts through workshops across major cities. To create more awareness and to help hosts understand the intricacies of the GST regime, they will be provided with a GST compliance manual.
The partnership will enable Airbnb hosts to avail H&R Block’s GST services of getting registered, managing compliance, liaising with the tax department and reconciling tax returns. Amanpreet Bajaj, Country Manager, Airbnb India said, “ We want to ensure that our host community is ready for the transition to GST.
