Informatica announced that it is hosting Informatica WorldÃ’ Tour (IWT) for India on 25 November 2016 at Trident Mumbai, Bandra Kurla Complex, with a focus on using data as a strategic tool to make better business decisions.
Taking on the same global charter as the 17th Informatica World – an annual user conference last hosted in San Francisco in May, IWT Mumbai 2016 provides a forum for industry visionaries, Cloud computing leaders, IT strategists, business executives, developers and data scientists to share insights and guidance on unlocking the maximum value from data to power their businesses. There will be multiple sessions where Informatica executives, solution experts and industry leaders will define a data strategy specific to a business and its IT needs, as well as demonstrate the models most effective in driving business value and transformation.
Expected to deliver the conference’s keynote on Data Powers Business – Roadmap to Data Excellence, Murray Sargant, senior vice president, Asia Pacific Japan, Informatica said, “At any stage of data collection, integration, quality control, evaluation, analysis or business application, getting the data wrong can very quickly lead to failure. We have been helping our customers in India and across the region to use data intelligently to create a seamless customer experience, disrupt the competition, spark innovation and drive greater profitability for the future. There is a need to bridge the gap between IT and business, and best practice data management lies at the center of it. This is the brainchild behind this year’s conference theme.”
IWT Mumbai 2016 will showcase market-leading products and solutions that help organizations deliver the right data and intelligence across all channels and touch points. Presentation highlights include:
· Redefining Customer Experience with a Customer Data Centric Approach
· The Analytics Journey from a Data Warehouse to a Data Lake
· Be a Self-Service Data Scientist
· Next Generation Data in the Cloud: Agility, Scalability and Flexibility
· Data Security
“In today's always connected, hybrid ecosystem, organizations fight to increase customer engagement, surpass competition, and identify bankable opportunities in order to succeed in a Data 3.0 world where information is power, and data is the new control point for business transformation,” said Adarsh Noronha, country manager – India, Informatica. “At IWT Mumbai 2016, I am excited to have invited industry leaders from notable organizations – including Indian Oil Corporation Limited, HDFC Bank, Aditya Birla, ICICI Lombard GIC Limited, National Stock Exchange of India Limited, SREI Equipment Finance Limited and Mphasis – to discuss how they have successfully applied intelligent data to derive real and actionable insights to power their business.”
