BlackRidge Technology and CarbonHelix announced a partnership to add Blackridge Identity-based Network Security to CarbonHelix services and support portfolio to deliver a new level of cyber security protection with greater visibility and control for the IBM z Systems mainframe and hybrid cloud environments.
BlackRidge Technology provides identity-based network security for enterprises that stops cyber-attacks and protects against insider threats at the earliest possible time, on the first packet before network sessions are established. This technology provides the equivalent of secure caller ID for the network that allows only identified and authorized users or devices access to enterprise and cloud systems. CarbonHelix delivers advanced Cyber Security Services to its customers in a simple one stop co-managed offering that leverages leading edge technologies from IBM®, including the IBM® QRadar® and IBM BigFix®, and now BlackRidge Identity-based Network Security for IBM z Systems.
“We are pleased to be working with CarbonHelix to expand their world class cyber security coverage to include the new level of protection that BlackRidge Identity-based network security provides,” said Bob Graham, CEO of BlackRidge Technology. “CarbonHelix’s expertise in deployment and managed services of IBM security offerings is a perfect fit for our recently announced support for IBM z Systems and hybrid cloud environments.”
“We believe the partnership with BlackRidge Technology will provide significant value and allow us to jointly enable even greater visibility and control into high value cyber security assets,” said Mark Precious, President of CarbonHelix. This will increase the level of security protection that our customers demand including providing enhanced visibility and greater insight for IBM z Systems. In addition, with BlackRidge we can extend network security controls to Cloud environments to provide micro-segmentation along with high value cloaking defense capabilities.”
