Panasonic India announced the launch of the world’s first 20-inch tablet PC with 4K resolution display in India, the Toughpad FZ-Y1. Building on a legacy of nearly two decades of enterprise-built devices, Panasonic’s newest rugged device is Product Specifications.
With the tablet market in India almost doubling year-on-year, higher levels of data consumption have had a direct impact on the convenience of larger screen sizes. With a range of powerful new enhancements such as the crystal clear 4K display monitor and high-level form factor, Panasonic has delivered its largest, slimmest, and most versatile tablet till date. Smoothly integrated into existing IT infrastructures and designed to streamline the total cost of ownership for businesses, the new device is poised to transform professional infrastructure across the broadcast, healthcare, architecture, banking, enterprise, and retail industries.
Equipped with the latest 5th generation Intel Core vPro processor, 8 GB RAM, and multiple input ports, the FZ-Y1 has been engineered to elevate business operations into ultra high-definition. For professionals in fields where visual clarity and collaboration are essential, it features a brilliant and immersive 230 pixel-per-inch IPS alpha LCD touchscreen with a 15:10 aspect ratio and wide viewing angles. Packaged in a 12.5 mm slim and 2.41 kg light body, the stylish, lightweight glass fiber chassis can be easily converted into desktop mode with the cradle accessory. Panasonic’s flagship rugged durability is ensured by the toughened, scratch resistant glass, which can withstand drop resistance up to 76 cm. The Windows 8.1 Pro operating system ensures high performance, security, and an intuitive touch experience, including multiple window viewing. This new range of Toughpads is priced at Rs. 2.4 Lacs.
