Bank of Baroda (BoB) launches Chillr Mobile app and becomes the first public sector bank to partner with Chillr. The association is aimed at providing the customers with a secure and an instant money transfer facility to any contact in their phonebook. Chillr, a first-of-its kind application, is directly linked to the customer’s bank account and can transfer money to any person in India, once he/she downloads the app and registers.
The sender selects the recipient from his contact list, enters the amount to be transferred and mPIN, and the receiver instantly gets the money in his bank account. Chillr makes the fund transfer easy and hassle-free.

Venkateswarlu, General Manager, Digital Banking, Bank of Baroda stated, “We are pleased to partner with Chillr and are happy to offer this platform of easy and instant fund transfer to our customers. Bank of Baroda always endeavors to provide its customers with simple and smart solutions. Using the Chillr app, customers of Bank of Baroda can send and receive money instantly. The app is presently made available on Android platform and will be made available on IOS and Windows platform shortly. Utility bill & Merchant payments on Chillr app will be enabled for BOB customers soon.
