In the recently held award ceremony of ‘Most Influential CIO/CTO’s of India’, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, CIO of Wave Infratech has won the honor of ‘Most Influential CIO of India’ for his outstanding contribution in the field of technology.
The award was conferred by the ‘Stars of the Industry Group’, a not-for-profit group guided by Advisory Council with a vision to provide strength and to make a positive difference to the IT community; business and the economy.
Serving as a chief mentor for all IT-related initiatives at Wave Infratech, Mr. Kumar brings 43 years of industry experience and technical leadership skills. At Wave Infratech, along with various IT & communications initiatives, he has been instrumental in successful implementation of SAP, CRM, Digital Marketing and a leading technology initiative of ‘High-tech City’ concept.
Mr. Kumar did his B. Tech (Mech.) and MBA from FMS (DU) with Finance as his major and has been trained at IBM and IIM (A). SAP implementation in 2007 at NTPC was considered to be the largest and the most comprehensive implementation in Power sector. Chain Management and usage of Collaborative technologies has been his forte.
He is a receiver of many awards and accolades and is greatly involved in delivering lectures and sharing experiences at various National and International Forums.
