Ricoh India announced the launch of its two new solutions for education and retail industries, as a part of its endeavor towards increasing workplace efficiency of enterprises through its IT automation & process integration. These launches will further strengthen RICOH’s position as a one stop solution provider and system integration.
For education industry Ricoh has launched a unique solution called Ricoh ‘Print Desk’ which is an integrated Print & Document Management Facility. The solution will be first of a kind configuration based integrated offering which will comprise of Printers and Multi-Function Devices, applications and a host of services in a single bouquet.
The solution is custom designed for the education institute based upon inputs generated from certain predefined parameters including print volume, number of students and faculty, distance between user and nearest machines. The key benefits of the Ricoh Print Desk will be in house availability of a comprehensive Printing, document management service within the institute, maintained by experts, anywhere anytime access for students through hotspot printing, including card based secure printing ensuring document security. The Print Desk solution can be procured by the institute either through outright purchase model or through a rental model for a specific period.
For Retail industry vertical Ricoh India is offering integrated Point of sale (POS) solution. This includes POS Terminal, Printer, Barcode reader and wireless payment facility including software. By automating retail business, retailers not only will be able to accelerate their transection process, but also improve customer satisfaction level, can do more business, achieve flawless inventory management and better usage of store space and staff.
