Marico Group is using self service analytics to gain insights into the company's data for planning and delivery. The company is very happy with the analytics solution since it is easy to use and can be operated by anybody. It does not special training, the company claims.
According to IDC, self-service software are gaining traction in the market as the companies do not want to be dependent on their IT personals to provide them true insights. Self-service software helps the companies to deploy the solution in no time.
Girish Rao, CIO of Marico Limited said at an event in New Delhi, "Marico Group is using Tableau analytics for about three years. We appreciate the solution since it is easy to implement, use and has a lot of features. The good thing is that we did not have involve anybody to implement the solution. It was seamless and was implemented by our internal team."
