AuthShield launches Facial and Voice Recognition TwoFactor Authentication Solution

Innefu Labs has just launched the latest authentication security form factor with Facial and Speech Recognition. The novel technology is used to securely authenticate customer’s identity while carrying out Mobile & Online payments, retail and Point of Sale transactions, ATM Transfers as well as Public distribution systems.

“Mobile payments are expected to grow from $ 12.8 Billion in 2012 to $ 90 Billion in 2017. No wonder then that the cyber-attacks targeting the mobile payments are becoming more innovative and difficult to detect” says Tarun Wig, Co-Founder, Innefu Labs,”62% of Users are afraid of using mobile payments for security of financial transactions. With AuthShield Zero cost biometrics, users will be able to authenticate themselves and pay for online transactions with facial or speech identification technologyensuring that their transactions are safe and secure” he added.

Innefu’s AuthShield Multifactor authentication solution authenticates the user based on devices registered to the user as well as easy to use no cost biometrics mechanism such as image and speech based authentication mechanism. To login a user just has to click a selfie from his handset or speak a phrase. The selfie is matched using a unique 3-D modeling pattern with user’s features. In case of voice recognition, the user’s speech pattern is matched against the phrase. The authentication is done within the device itself ensuring that the entire authentication process can be carried out offline. The biggest advantage of the technology is that it cannot be spoofed as the system uses a unique Gesture recognition technology and text independent speaker recognition. User has an option to authenticate using both facial and voice biometrics.

“AuthShield facial and voice authentication combines with a unique risk transaction algorithm to match the degree of security to user’s location and movement patterns. Current authentication methods of entering user name, password and then waiting for a SMS OTP just end up hampering user’s functionality. With AuthShield’s Facial and Voice recognition, the authentication of the user takes place with a click of a button,” says Abhishek Sharma, Co-Founder, Innefu Labs. “More importantly, since we work at a protocol layer rather than application it ensures that no changes need to be made to the application”, he added.
