In line with the government’s focus on raising awareness on Yoga and celebrating the International Yoga Day (21st June), Amazon.in, India’s largest online store has released a trends report on the sale of books, DVDs and fitness products related to yoga on its online marketplace.
A growing emphasis on a healthier and fitter lifestyle has seen a corresponding increase in the relevance of yoga in current times. At Amazon.in, we have seen close to a 400% increase in the offtake of yoga related products when compared to 6 months ago. The increase has been seen across different product groups like yoga mats, yoga kits, apparel, books and DVDs.

Amazon.in is launching a dedicated Yoga store which goes live tomorrow – June 20, 2015 onwards – offering easy and convenient access to a wide selection of yoga related products , all at one place. This will include a wide variety of yoga mats, yoga kits, yoga apparel for men and women, yoga accessories, hydration bottles, DVDs on yoga and yoga books. The store will have deals running on yoga products across 20th and 21st June.
