In collaboration with Open Data Platform, Infosys today sponsored the Apache Hadoop Global Bug Bash - a first-of-its-kind event in the open source world at its campus in Bangalore. Apache Hadoop Global Bug Bash is a working event for active contributors and committers to the Apache Hadoop project.
Experienced contributors from Infosys and the open source community came together for this global coding day. The agenda of the program was devoted to identifying and registering important patches, cleaning up the queue for the Apache Hadoop project and to get critical bug fixes officially registered with ASF (Apache Software Foundation) and Apache Hadoop.
This unique event spanned across five countries, seven time zones, and three onsite locations across the globe. It provided an opportunity for the participants to network and collaborate with participants and the broader ASF development community.
