NComputing which is a desktop virtualization company is going through one of the worst times as it faces a lot of debt. The firm, which sells DV devices and software that connect desktop computers to a single PC or server, and just two years ago, was at one point one of the fastest-growing companies in its industry. But today it stands at a point where it is looking for a buyer. The news has emerged as a shock in the industry.
"The company is in the process of being sold," said co-founder and Chief Executive Young Song talking to a journal. "I am working hard to keep our technology alive. ... The show must go on." The company is very much engaged in the government education sector in India. It has deployed solutions in many states in India. Besides, it has clients across verticals. NComputing customers must be worried they would be concerned about the support for the systems they are using.
