JetSetGo online marketplace for private jets completes a successful year

JetSetGo, India’s marketplace for private jets and helicopters, has completed its first successful year. A combination of a fall in aviation fuel prices and improving macro-economic fundamentals is changing the fortunes for the general aviation (GA) business in India with several aircraft and helicopter manufacturers registering increases in order book and betting on India being a core part of their future growth plans. JetSetGo provides an enterprise management tool for aircraft operators providing amongst others cloud based scheduling, aircraft management and advanced trip-pricing capabilities with an in-built market place for services and parts on one hand and providing customers (shortly) the ability to compare and book private charters online with the ability to re-coup cost of empty travel legs through its demand aggregation model on the other.

Talking about the progress of JetSetGo, Kanika Tekriwal, Co-Founder and CEO said, “The Company successfully raised start-up capital last year to build on its strategy to create seamless market places that join the dots between charter customers, operators and service providers. The industry still struggles with several bottlenecks and structural inefficiencies. Whilst we are now in active discussions to raise further growth capital; we hope the platform will soon begin to address these issues revolutionizing the experience for customers and aircraft operators alike”

“JetSetGo will be a full stack business that extends the experience from the transparency and ease of the online booking process through the actual journey itself providing superior level of service at every customer touch point” said Sudheer Perla, Co-Founder of JetSetGo

Kanika further adds “While the GA market in India is on the threshold of catapulting itself into the global arena, it is still under-developed to global peers with GA comprising only around 15% of total aircraft movement in the country. As we begin to enable better price discovery, aggregate demand and utilize empty legs better we will soon provide a far superior alternative to flying business class or connecting locations that still cannot be served by commercial airlines.”
