Fork Media has announced the appointment of Pandurang Nayak as its Chief Technology Officer. With 16 years of experience in the internet and mobile industry, Pandurang will be responsible for strategizing and implementing the roadmap for several products in India and the GCC region including Brand Press, the native advertising platform and Impulse, the image recognition and monetisation platform.
Speaking on the appointment, Samar Verma, CEO and Co- Founder, Fork Media said, “We are extremely delighted to welcome Pandurang to the Fork Media family. Pandurang Nayak, a seasoned technology specialist has a successful track record in strategizing new product developments and business planning during his leadership roles in large organizations including Cognizant, Microsoft and Times Internet. Previously, Pandurang has led the charge to deliver a large-scale premium video offering to end-users across the world as the Business Head at BoxTV, a Times Internet company.

The appointment of Pandurang Nayak comes at a crucial juncture in Fork Media’a growth strategy which will focus on expansion to emerging digital markets including Singapore and Indonesia. Since the launch of its Dubai operations in November last year, Fork Media has already established partnerships with several publications in the GCC region including Sports360, Elle Arabia, Motivate group and the Khaleej Times.
