Canon launched the sixth Canon Image Square (CIS) In New Delhi today. Located in Janakpuri (G-10, Ground Floor, Vishwadeep Tower, Plot No. 04, District Centre), the store offers a complete range of photography and home printing solutions. The new store was inaugurated by Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products Group, Canon India.
Along with excellent photography and photo printing solutions the exclusive CIS stores offer Canon’s most sought after products from high end to entry level DSLR’s and attractive new compact cameras from the PowerShot and IXUS series. Photography accessories such as tripods, chargers etc are also available. The CIS stores provide a range of printing services where customers can take prints of photographs directly from their smart phones, tablets, pen drives, memory cards or CD’s. The trained staff at the stores assists customers in choosing products according to their specific needs. Other highlights include the comfortable EMI options available to customers for Canon products and regular, free training workshops for DSLR camera buyers.
Talking about the launch, Mr. Andrew Koh, said, “Delhi is an important market for us as it contributes significantly to our camera business. The latest CIS store here is part of our effort to engage closely with our existing customer base as well reach out to newer customers across the city. The USP of these exclusive stores is that they offer the latest range of Canon products and services in an easy, accessible manner. Our store staff strive to create for customers an interactive and informative buying experience to help them make the right choice depending on their need. In order to keep up with growing demand for Canon products, we plan to open two more stores in Delhi in 2015.”
The company plans to launch 200+ CIS stores by the end of 2015 in India. With this launch in New Delhi, there will be a total of 143 CIS stores, across 71 cities in India.
To further consolidate its position in the imaging industry, Canon has recently launched a range of new variants in the PowerShot, IXUS and EOS series cameras and more exciting launches are on the anvil for 2015.
