Ruckus Wireless expands India presence

Ruckus Wireless has plans to expand it footprint in India as the company is willing to increase its technical support center in India so that it can grow in the enterprise and service provider space.

Looking at incremental growth and rapid expansion in the Indian market, Ruckus aims to strengthen its technical capabilities to cater to growing demands of the Indian market and provide stronger support to its global customers and partners. As part of the expansion, Ruckus will expand its technical team in its Bangalore office, and expand its current office capacity to accommodate the new team.

“Demand of for the kind of smarter, more reliable Wi-Fi network infrastructure we provide has been growing non-stop,” said Giri Iyer, vice president, Global Customer Support, Ruckus Wireless. “Since the company first established our technical support centre here in 2009, our technical support engineers have been assisting our value added partners and customers deploy and manage their Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi networks.. As demand for Ruckus products and services grows, Ruckus is continuing to incrementally grow its support capabilities to address this growing demand for our services. "

Currently, the Ruckus Wireless office is located at Diamond District Building, Old Airport Road, Bangalore. Ruckus is planning to add 15,000 sq. ft. of floor space to the current office, in addition to hiring more staff.

Ruckus Wireless is ranked as the third largest enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) vendor worldwide by IDC, according to their latest enterprise Wireless LAN report (Q4 2014), and is ranked as the number one vendor worldwide for service provider (carrier) Wi-Fi by Dell ‘Oro group. Founded in June 2004, Ruckus is well-known for its groundbreaking, patented BeamFlex adaptive antenna technology incorporated into its ZoneFlex access points that helps enable its Smart Wi-Fi systems to deliver ultra reliable multimedia applications over Wi-Fi, especially in dense environments.
