Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Rajiv Pratap Rudy has said that the government is conscious of the critical role of skill development in the success of the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Mr. Rudy said that industry manufacturing and upgrading human resources in the country are key focus areas of the government.
Speaking at The Growth Net summit today, Mr. Rudy said “India needs to develop the manufacturing sector and the states have to come on board for the growth of this sector. It is high time to have uniform tax policies across states to stimulate this sector and also encourage entrepreneurship”
Mr. Rudy further added that the government has identified the hurdles in the way of skill development and has created a roadmap that is being monitored daily by the Prime Minister.
