Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to meet PM Narendra Modi in October

This morning it was a pleasant surprise to know that Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is planning to visit India. India is the second biggest market for the social networking giant Facebook. Zuckerberg will visit India later this month.

Zuckerberg during his visit has plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be in India to address the first Internet.org summit which will take place on October 9-10.

Besides, the billionaire is expected to meet members of other key ministries. In recent times, Zuckerberg is the third high profile CEO of a US-based corporation, after Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Microsoft's Satya Nadella, who are visiting India. While Microsoft and Amazon are betting big on India for growth and business opportunities, Facebook might like to expand its footprint in the country.
