LAVA launches Iris 406Q smartphone @ Rs 7499

LAVA International Limited  unveiled LAVA Iris 406Q, a power packed quad core smartphone with 1 GB RAM running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Processor with Adreno 302 @400MHz Graphics Unit, offering users a lag free experience.With the launch of its first smartphone based on Snapdragon 200 processor, Lava has further expanded its portfolio of mid-range smartphones.

LAVA Iris 406Q runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 out-of-the-box that can be upgraded to Android 4.4 Kitkat. It is equipped with a 4.0 inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display. Its 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera provides Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL), high performance HDR and noise reduction to images. Its unique and special IML(in-mold labeling) back cover makes the handset highly scratch-resistant. Having quad-core processor with 1GB RAM lets users enjoy graphic intensive games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 4 and Dead Trigger 2 seamlessly.

Iris 406Q comes equipped with Audio Plus software which offers high-end surround sound, 3D audio and wider bass on headphones, providing a crisp and crystal clear sound quality to users.

LAVA Iris 406Q supports 4GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB.  The phone is powered by a 1700mAh battery and intuitive software Battery Guru that learns usage patterns and conserves the smartphone battery. Dual SIM Iris 406Q is a 3G enabled quad band GSM smartphone, and also supports Wi-fi, Bluetooth, USB, GPRS and EDGE for connectivity on the go.

Priced at Rs. 7,499 LAVA Iris 406Q is available in black & white colors and is up for exclusive pre-order on Flipkart, India’s largest online retail for the first few days. It will be available across national retail chain stores and multi-brand outlets by early next week. However, it will be available online only on Flipkart for the first month.
