Theatro Opens Research and Development Office in Bangalore

Theatro, a three year old technology start-up that is defining the enterprise wearable technology market and transforming overall productivity of indoor mobile employees, announced today the opening of the Theatro India office in Bangalore, the country’s high tech hub.  The Theatro Bangalore office will focus on developing new technologies specific to large-scale cloud based infrastructure as well as big data and predictive analytics.

“By being able to access the wealth of engineering talent that is available in the silicon valley of India, Theatro will be able to accelerate innovation and meet the growing demand for their solutions,” said Ed Zander, Theatro Investor, Advisory Board Member and former CEO of Motorola.


Ravi Shankar Kumar, Theatro CTO, will be managing the new R & D center and overseeing the Bangalore team.  His extensive experience in building sophisticated product development team in the U.S. and India will ensure seamless orchestration across the engineering organization.
