At the back of a highly successful 2013 with top line being doubled to Rs. 2000 cr in a span of two years, Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS), a leading provider of outsourcing solutions and a Hinduja Group Company announces the launch of two new centers in Philippines, supported by an investment of $ 6.79 million. HGS entered Philippines in the year 2003 with the acquisition of C-Cube, and was the first Indian BPO to set up base and a decade later the company boasts of 5000 employees spread across six centres in Philippines. Spread across a total area of 22,377 sq.mt in Philippines occupying 3975 seats, the sites are located in Metro Manila, Iloilo province and now in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Commenting on this development Partha DeSarkar, Global Chief Executive, HGS says, “Over the last 10 years, the Philippines BPO industry has grown by over 600% and this region contributes around $ 63 million which is 15% of our total revenues. Given the strategic significance of the Philippines region, we aim to convert the model from a delivery and back office organisation to front end sales to offer better service delivery to clients and continue to grow our business”.
HGS has clients from Health Care, Consumer Electronic and Telecom verticals in Philippines and Health Care is one of the most lucrative business verticals for the company in this region. Most of the clients serviced from this region are predominantly from USA (North America) and have recently added some prominent names from Canada.
