A look at Apple's Biggest Flops

While Apple Inc stands tall in the tech world today with its epoch-making products such as iPod, iPhone, iMac and iPad, etc., it has a shady past which records some of the failed products it tried to deliver. Believe me, Tim Cook is not responsible for these failures. It all happened when the famous Steve Jobs, now dead, was alive and handling the reins of the company.

A website http://www.masters-in-finance.org has clubbed together the list of products in a graphical form to make it easier for you to know about the failed products from Apple's stable. The list takes you back to 1983 listing its first failure in the form of Apple Lisa. It was a great product-a computer with a mouse and a graphical interface but was highly priced. It failed to get consumers and died in the annals of time. In 1989, Apple launched the Macintosh Portable. Ironically the device was as big as a briefcase and so failed. There are many other products that gave Apple tough times.
